Dr Christopher Heinrich
Dr Heinrich graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1968 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He worked at the Women's and Children's Hospital for 2 years before travelling to London, as the ship's surgeon, where he worked and trained. He worked in a Paediatric Hospital in the UK before returning to Adelaide in 1972. Dr Heinrich has worked extensively as a GP in the Eastern Suburbs for over 45 years. His medical interests include General medicine, obstetric shared care and chronic disease management.
Dr Penelope Dargaville
Dr Dargaville graduated 1980 from the University of Tasmania. She received her FRACGP in 1988 and her Masters in Clinical Education in 2003. Dr Dargaville worked in general practice in ACT. She also worked as Medical Educator for the RACGP from 1995-2003. Dr Dargaville was Medical Advisor for Medicare from 2003-2010, while working part time in General Practice in Adelaide
Dr Tanja Shahin
Dr Shahin completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1994 the Flinders University of South Australia. Completed Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Completed the Diploma in Child Health from the Women's and Children's Hospital in 2008.
Dr Cindy Koh
Dr Koh graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
Dr Koh has worked and trained throughout South Australia, including the Adelaide Hills and Clare.
Dr Koh’s medical interests include General medicine, obstetric shared care, paediatrics, skin checks, minor excisions and chronic disease management. Dr Koh has a Diploma in Child Health and is an examiner for the RACGP.
Dr Les Koopowitz
Dr Les Koopowitz qualified as a doctor in 1983 in South Africa. After a number of years practicing in general medicine he specialised in psychiatry, qualifying in 1991. In 1995, Les and his family relocated to South Australia. When it became apparent that Adelaide was going to remain his home, Les took the exam and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand of Psychiatrists. Les divides his time between Health on Kensington and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit at Hampstead where he practises in neuropsychiatry. He is heavily in training budding specialist in psychiatry and is also affiliated to the University of Adelaide as a Clinical Associate Professor lecturing in psychiatry and neuroscience.
Professor Gary Wittert is an Endocrinologist. He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa. After a year in rural general practice, he undertook training in General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology in Christchurch, New Zealand. His postdoctoral training was at Harvard Medical School and Oregon Health Sciences University. He joined the University of Adelaide in 1994, received a Personal Chair in 2004 and is currently Head of the Discipline of Medicine, Director of the Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men’s Health Research, Senior Consultant Endocrinologist Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Senior Principle Research Fellow at SAHMRI. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences.
Professor Anna Chur-Hansen is a Health Psychologist (Health Psychology focuses on the relationship between mental health and physical health - the ways in which physical illness can impact mental health and vice versa - and ways to promote good health and prevent problems with mental and physical health). She is currently the Head of the School of Psychology in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. She is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, and a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society. She has been working at Health on Kensington, one afternoon per week, since 2008.
Graduated from the University of Rangoon in 1991. He then moved to Australia in 1996 and commenced his training as a psychiatrist at the University of Adelaide. He has worked at Glenside and Canberra. He currently working for Western Community Mental Health and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with private rooms at Health on Kensington.
