My Health Record allows important health information like allergies, current conditions and treatments, medicine details, pathology reports and diagnostic imaging reports all to be digitally stored in one place.

Healthcare providers such as doctors, specialists and hospital staff can see these details online from anywhere at any time when they need to, such as in an accident or emergency situation.

Everyone has an ‘My Health Record’ unless they have opted out prior to January 2019 or cancelled their record since. GPs/Nurses can upload health summaries to keep a patient’s health record up to date.

For more information have a look at the My Health Records government website or speak to Staff at your next appointment.
